Join schools across the UK in an exciting and rewarding fundraising challenge for Children in Need! This year, we’re encouraging schools to get their students rowing for a great cause, combining the power of fitness, teamwork, and giving back.
The challenge: Row as many metres as you can on your Concept2 Indoor Rowers and raise money for Children in Need along the way. It’s a fun, accessible, and meaningful way to engage students in fitness while helping them make a difference in the lives of children across the country.
Ready to get started? Simply fill in the form below to register your school for the Children in Need Row Challenge.
You’ll need to provide the link to your school’s JustGiving page so we can track your fundraising progress, then get rowing and fundraising.
Rowing works over 80% of the body’s muscles, helping to build strength, improve cardiovascular endurance, and boost overall fitness. It’s a low-impact exercise, so it’s suitable for all ages and abilities.
Rowing is more than just an individual workout – it’s an activity that fosters teamwork, camaraderie, and communication. It helps students learn the value of working together to achieve a common goal, creating bonds that extend beyond the rowing machine.
Rowing challenges students both physically and mentally, teaching them how to push through difficulty and build resilience. This kind of mental toughness will serve them in all areas of their lives, not just in sport.
Support a great cause – Children in Need provides essential support to disadvantaged children and young people across the UK.
Promote health and fitness – Give your students an exciting new way to stay active, build strength, and improve their fitness in a fun and inclusive environment.
Encourage teamwork – Bring your students together and foster a sense of community spirit through a shared goal.
Win great prizes – Take a shot at winning a rowing machine for your school or an individual prize!
